Definitions
1.1 In these Terms & Conditions:
Dollar or $ means Australian dollars.
Hairhouse Warehouse or Hairhouse means Hairhouse Warehouse Franchising Pty Ltd ABN 53 159 815 079 and includes Hairhouse’s employees, agents, contractors, officers, franchisees and related entities (as that term is defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)).
Member means a member of the Style Society Program.
Points means Reward Points earned by a Member in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Privacy Policy means the Hairhouse privacy policy published on the Website.
Profile Page means the webpage on the Website where a Member can, amongst other things, update personal details, and check loyalty status and Points balance.
Program or Style Society Program means the rewards program operated by Hairhouse in which Members can earn Points.
Returns Policy means the Hairhouse returns policy published on the Website.
Reward Points means 2 points for every $1 spent at Hairhouse (in-store retail, salon piercing or online) and earned by a Member in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Terms and Conditions means these terms and conditions, as amended from time to time.
Website means www.hairhouse.com.au
2. Participation and Membership
2.1 A Member may only hold one membership at any time.
2.2 To apply for membership and become a Member, an applicant must sign up by visiting a Hairhouse store (or sign up online on the Website) and registering their name, a valid and unique email address, mobile phone number and birthday (date and month).
2.3 By joining the Program the applicant agrees to:
(i) accept and be bound by these Terms and Conditions; and
(ii) the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy (a copy of which can be obtained on the Website), as amended from time to time.
2.4 Hairhouse may, in its absolute discretion and without giving reasons for its decision, accept or refuse an application for membership.
2.5 The rights and Reward Points of a Member are non-transferable and Reward Points are not redeemable for cash.
2.6 It is the responsibility of a Member to update their details on their Profile Page.
3. Program and Rewards Points
3.1 The Style Society Program consists of 2 levels of membership based on Reward Points accrual:
• Gold - up to 1,499 Reward Points per annum; and
• Platinum - 1,500 Reward Points + per annumUpon joining the Program, a Member automatically joins the Gold Level unless initial purchase qualifies them for Platinum membership.
3.2 Once a Member accrues 1,000 Rewards Points they receive a $10 loyalty voucher which can be used on a subsequent purchase (in-store or online, on any product or service).
3.3 If a Member collects 1,500 Rewards Points or greater within a 12 month period (from date of joining the Program or in any subsequent 12 month anniversary period), they are promoted to Platinum membership.
3.4 A Member must accrue 1,500 Reward Points (or greater) each 12 month anniversary from date of joining the Program to remain at Platinum level.
3.5 Style Society Reward Points are calculated including decimals e.g. $29.95 = 59.90 Style Society points.3.6 Additional Reward Points may also be earned by Members on promotions or incentive programs as determined by Hairhouse from time to time.
3.7 Subject to IT operability, Reward Points will be credited to a Member’s Program account within 48 hours of a purchase.
3.8 A Member can check their loyalty status and Reward Points balance, and redeemable loyalty vouchers by logging into the Style Society Members’ Profile Page on the Website. Hairhouse is not responsible for any delay in the updating of a Member’s Reward Points balance.
3.9 Hairhouse may, from time to time and in accordance with clause 6.1, vary the number of dollars spent for Reward Points accumulation rate.
3.10 Hairhouse reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude certain items and promotions from being redeemed using the Style Society Program.
4. Points Redemption
4.1 Once a Member accrues 1,000 Reward Points a $10 loyalty voucher is emailed to the member and can be used on subsequent purchases (in-store or online, on any product or service) (Loyalty Voucher). A Loyalty Voucher expires 60 days from the date of issue for Gold Members and 90 days from the date of issue for Platinum Members. Rewards Points will not accrue on the Redemption of a Loyalty Voucher.
5. Returns5.1 The return of any product redeemed using a Loyalty Voucher will be subject to the terms and conditions of the Returns Policy. If an in-store refund is to be provided to a Member where a Loyalty Voucher has been used for the purchase it will take the form of a refund of $10 credited in a gift card plus refund of any cash component paid by the Member. If an online refund is to be provided to a Member for an online purchase using a Loyalty Voucher the Member will be refunded in the same format of payment and the amount of the Loyalty Voucher will be refunded with a promotion code emailed to the customer for use on a subsequent purchase.
Rewards Points accrued on the purchase of any returned products will be reversed from the Member’s total balance of Points.
6. Changes to the Program6.1 Hairhouse reserves the right to:
(i) suspend or terminate membership at any time;
(ii) vary these Terms and Conditions at any time for any reason; and
(iii) terminate the Program,
without prior notice to a Member.
7. Termination
7.1 Program membership continues until the earlier of termination or cancellation by Hairhouse (in its absolute discretion) or the Member notifying Hairhouse customer service via email at enquiries@hairhouse.com.au to advise that they wish to terminate their Program membership.
General
8.1 Hairhouse does not warrant in any way that rewards or benefits for Members will be available at any particular time or times or in any particular place.
8.2 To the extent permitted by law, Hairhouse’s liability in relation to any product or service purchased from it is limited to the lesser of: in the case of products, (i) the cost of replacing the relevant product, (ii) the cost of obtaining an equivalent product, or (iii) the cost of having the relevant product repaired, and in the case of services, (i) the supplying of the services again, or (ii) the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
8.3 Apart from clause 8.2, Hairhouse has no liability (including liability in negligence) to the Member for any loss or damage (consequential or otherwise) suffered by the Member.
8.4 A Member indemnifies Hairhouse for and against any loss or claim suffered or incurred by Hairhouse arising from or in connection with a breach of these Terms and Conditions by a Member.
8.5 These Terms and Conditions supersede and replace any and all previous Terms and Conditions specifically governing the Program (or any predecessor of it).
